In the fight against school dropout, NOROC project launches an information and awareness campaign in the 5 vulnerable counties of Romania where it focuses its attention and efforts, namely Dolj, Olt, Gorj, Vâlcea and Bacău.
The campaign launched today starts from the desire to raise awareness among children, parents and the community about the difficulties children from vulnerable groups and/or with special educational needs (SEN) face in the educational process, and to strengthen the support that the target group can give to these children. The campaign also aims to highlight the methods and techniques in the project, with a focus on working with mentors and teacher training.
Children, mentors and teachers alike will design their own campaign and organise awareness-raising events in schools and communities. Materials designed by the children during the summer camp and during mentoring and after-school activities will be used.
