Vultureni School was established in 1966, first with primary education.
In 1970, the current building with 5 classrooms was built and inaugurated. In 1972, a second premises with two rooms was built, for the kindergarten and workshop-school.
The first school in the commune was the one in Godineștii de Jos, established around 1867-1868 according to the Law of Public Instruction, given by Alexandru Ioan Cuza. The duration of studies was 5 years, after which it was switched to 7-grade education.
In 1938, 8 primary schools with 10 classrooms and 8 teachers, attended by 183 children, were operating in the commune.
In the 1970-1971 school year, there were 4 schools with classes I-VIII and 10 schools with classes I-IV, attended by 791 students and guided by 40 teaching staff.
Starting with the 1970 school year and until 1990, the 9th and 10th classes, with an agricultural profile, functioned in the Vultureni School.
Currently, in Vultureni commune, Vultureni Secondary School is the only secondary school, moreover it is also the only school with legal personality that has as structures, 4 schools with classes I-IV with simultaneous teaching and 1 kindergarten.
In the 2022-2023 school year, the educational units include 74 students in the 4 middle school classes and 98 children in 6 primary classes with simultaneous teaching in 2, 3 and even 5 classes and 34 preschoolers in 3 kindergarten groups, combined groups. The teaching staff is represented by 6 teaching staff who work as teachers, 3 staff as educators and 10 as teachers.
