Scarișoara Secondary School, Scarișoara commune

In the Scarişoara commune, the first school building was opened in 1893, with two classrooms. In 1920, two more classrooms and a chancellery were built according to the data from the national archive. As the number of students increased, in 1970 a new school building consisting of 8 classrooms, a physics-chemistry laboratory, library, chancellery and administrative offices was put into use.

School classes are held in this place today, the place benefiting from improvements. The school is located in the center of the town, on the Caracal-Corabia county road.

The town of Scarişoara is located on the right bank of the Olt river, at a distance of 28-30 km from the town of Caracal.
