The Grădinari Secondary School is located in the center of Grădinari commune, located in the north-western part of Olt county. State education opened on the current territory of Grădinari commune after the education reform of 1864.
The first school appeared in the village of Runcu Mare and functioned as a primary school from the 7th decade until the 19th century. This was built in the same perimeter as the church. The school with classes I-VIII Kindergartens was established in 1974 and functioned as a secondary school, but between 1980-1983, lower high school education and part-time education were included.
Currently, the school operates based on grades I-VIII and has the following structures:
