Secondary School no. 13 is located in the heart of the Ostroveni neighborhood, on the right bank of the Olt, in the southeast of the municipality of Rm. Vâlcea. Currently, the unit has 26 classes, of which: 16 primary education classes in the Step by Step system, one traditional education class and 9 traditional secondary education classes, the total number of students being over 1150. The school’s mission supports the following perspective : The valorization of each child, his intellectual stimulation, the development of emotional skills, education for adaptation to change, in the spirit of European values, in a stimulating school environment. According to this vision, the school aims to bring students-teachers-parents together, out of the desire to make education, in general, and the classroom, in particular, a place of trust, safety, and family.
